Tutorial Support
Tutorial Support is designed to increase academic performance for our students. There will be regularly scheduled progress checks between the Tutorial Support teacher and General Ed. teachers regarding students’ progress, behavior, and attendance. Students will have at least one TS class with their case manager which allows students to work with their case manager to ensure overall school success.

1st Semester Idiom and Vocabulary
The first semester we will be focusing on the following standards in TS:
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.CCRA.L.4
Determine or clarify the meaning of unknown and multiple-meaning words and phrases by using context clues, analyzing meaningful word parts, and consulting general and specialized reference materials, as appropriate.
Demonstrate understanding of figurative language, word relationships, and nuances in word meanings.
