Aloha Club & Black History Month

We at Aloha Club believe that it is very important to support the Black Community and their social justice efforts. Our communities need to listen and understand each other in order to move forward and create lasting changes for the future. We know that Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders must address Anti-Blackness in our families and in our communities. We must have conversations about race with our families and friends. We must refuse to be used as a wedge against other communities of color and must start by rejecting the “Model Minority” Myth. Here are some resources regarding the current discourse on this matter below, but we encourage you all to do more research beyond these articles and join these vital conversations.
