(Sexuality and Gender Alliance)
Mission Statement: As the Sexuality and Gender Alliance of Freedom High School, we will promote tolerance and acceptance of all genders and sexualities between both the faculty and students and create a safe space for all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender, by increasing awareness and education.
What is SAGA?: SAGA is much like a GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) but with a different name in order to be more inclusive towards the community. Our meetings are a place where students of every gender and sexual orientation can come to feel safe and accepted.
What do we do?
- Attend school events and maintain a booth
- Talk at school events (Conferences, staff meetings, etc)
- Host LGBTQ events
- Go to LGBTQ events in the community
SAGA meets every A Day Thursday in H101 😎
