Due to weekly wrestle-offs, Wrestling is a sport without a truly defined Varsity and JV teams. A wrestler, for the most part, is not assigned to either of the teams. As the season progresses, the needs of the team and the results of the wrestle-offs will determine, each event, who will be competing.
All wrestlers will be given the opportunity to compete during the season, as long as they attend all required practices in the days leading up to each event. If you don't practice, you don't compete!
Coaches will do their best to notify each athlete which competitions they will be participating in, at least one day prior to the event.
There will be weekly updates provided on the events taking place that particular week. Each week, we will also coordinate transportation to the meets. Most instances, the athlete will need to be transported to the competition by their parent/guardian. We are not provided bussing to and from the competitions. Licensed athletes are only allowed to drive to events hosted by the schools in our school district (Liberty/Heritage).
